What it does
Hyaluronic acid is a humectant — it holds water. That makes it useful for dehydrated skin, which is not the same as oily or dry skin and can happen to either.
Apply to damp skin and seal it with a moisturiser, or it can pull water out of the skin in dry air rather than into it.
